Alta Equipment Company Recognized as Avant Dealer of the Year

Alta Equipment Company has been recognized by the heavy equipment manufacturer Avant as its Dealer of the Year for 2017.

Avant’s Dealer of the Year title is awarded annually to the manufacturer’s partner dealership that leads in sales performance for the year, and 2017 marks the first time that Alta has been recognized with the award.

The competition for the title of top dealership was a close one in 2017, with only a narrow margin separating Alta from an East Coast rival. Thanks to Alta’s dedicated customers and diligent product support sales representatives, however, the company was able to maintain its position at the top of Avant’s leaderboard.

“We are honored to be recognized by Avant as its 2017 Dealer of the Year,” said Rob Chiles, president of Alta Equipment – Construction Division. “Avant equipment continues to distinguish itself in the marketplace, and our customers have taken notice of its power and performance. It comes as no surprise to us or many of our customers that Avant’s products continue to grow in popularity and in sales here in the Midwest market.”

Alta’s selection was announced Tuesday, Oct. 23 in Louisville, Kentucky before The Green Industry & Equipment Expo.

October has been a notable month for Alta Equipment Company, as earlier in the month, Alta was also recognized by Equipment World magazine as its first Big Iron Dealer of the Year. The inaugural award recognizes not just sales volume, but a dealer’s commitment to community engagement, customer education, staff training and marketing initiatives as part of the overall drive to serve the construction industry. Alta is currently featured on Equipment World’s Big Iron Dealer website and recognized in an upcoming edition of Equipment World.
