Product Spotlight: Toro TRX Walk-Behind Trenchers

NEW TORO TRX WALK-BEHIND TRENCHERS ARE MORE POWERFUL & EFFICIENT THAN EVER! Good news for those of us who love a good ditch, fence, wall, or clean pipeline: Toro has enhanced their excellent walk-behind trenchers so they are even easier to use and maintain.  The TRX has always had a low center of gravity and large footprint — which makes it incredibly stable with...uh... "groundbreaking" maneuverability. These machines are also precise: the TRX will help you minimize damage to surrounding turf.  The new Toro models deliver these benefits and more, for a truly exceptional machine.

THE SMARTEST (AND FASTEST) DITCH DIGGERS EVER! The new TRX-250 and TRX-300 feature Intelli-Trench™ technology, which optimizes the machine’s hydraulic flow for soil type / wet or dry digging conditions —automatically sending the hydraulic flow from the traction motors to the trencher head.  The result?  Power when and where you need it.  Higher torque availability optimizes your quality trenching time. Added benefit: the traction handle can stay in one place without needing constant adjustment.  Altogether, these upgrades mean reduced operator fatigue, and much faster job completion.

STREAMLINED CONTROLS TRX's new hydraulic design requires significantly fewer parts than previous models.  That's great news for users: maintenance is simplified — and so is servicing.  The streamlined controls are also easier to learn and operate.  Yet another way this new Intelli-Trench tech optimizes performance?  It decreases track wear, and maintains engine RPM's for prime engine cooling.  Yep, the benefits just keep adding up...

DIG IN, WITH PLENTY O' POWER The raw specs are just as impressive as all the smart power-delivery tech. The TRX-250 has a gutsy 24.5 hp Toro® engine, with a max forward speed of 2.4 mph, while the TRX-300 has a 26.5 hp Kohler® EFI engine, with a max forward speed of 2.3 mph. Each has a 4 gallon fuel tank, and a heavy-duty air cleaner (smart!) is standard on both models.  Both models have the same overall dimensions: 82.5 inches long, 33.8 inches wide, and 46 inches high.

SMOOTH BOOM, TOO Operators will notice the familiar TRX trencher valve handle and boom lift lever, but now they pack a bigger punch.  The boom lift & lower functions have been greatly enhanced hydraulically — allowing the boom to move up and down nice...and...smooth. Ahhh.   Another plus for ease of operation and greater productivity.
