There are many factors that contribute to the longevity of Volvo excavators. The integrity of the equipment’s frame and structures is a result of bench durability and ultrasonic testing, booms with large cross sections, strength- and weight-optimized frames, and high-quality swing bearings, which are sealed to prevent contamination and early bearing failure. Furthermore, the frames are made with high tensile steel for long service life and low risk of fatigue
The warranty covers the frame, boom and arm of excavators for the entirety of the initial ownership period. With the extension of coverage, the warranty now covers all Volvo excavators, as well as articulated haulers, asphalt compactors, soil compactors, front end loaders, skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.
